First off, I apologize for not updating this thing more often. I feel like I'm playing a constant game of catch-up with everything lately. We're still adjusting to Levi not taking a nap anymore (wahh!), but he's getting better at just playing or watching cartoons while I try to do things while Paige naps. Now that P's birthday party is done, the next catch-up item is my Project Life album that has been neglected for way too long. I do at least have pictures printed so I can get something started. Anyways, thought I would share some pictures from Paige's party yesterday, since I want to wait for her 12 month update until I get her official weight/height from the doctor on Tuesday.
Like I mentioned above, the theme for Paige's first birthday party was Pink Lemonade! I had fun browsing Pinterest for cute, simple ideas to use. I tried not to spend to much, and I think I did pretty good! To be honest I think the lemons cost the most! Maybe not quite, but good grief they aren't cheap right now! Anyways, here was my little setup for the drink table. The straws came from jane.com, and we ended up not even using them. My original plan was to use mason jars for everyone as glasses, but at the last minute (as in, the night before) I decided that would be too much of a hassle. So Paul went to town in the morning and since I wanted clear glasses, the short ones were all they had. Oh well, they made a cute decoration! The letters for the lemon decoration with her name, and the banners I cut out using my Silhouette, which made it super easy! I also printed out each of her monthly pictures that I had taken to display.
This little lemonade stand took the most time, but it still didn't take too long, mostly waiting for paint to dry. Thanks to my mom and her painting skills for helping me with the lettering on the sign! I did the T-A-N-D in STAND, lol. The birthday girl looked adorable in the tutu I made her! She loved having it on! She loved the necklace too! I can't wait to take her one year pictures with Stephanie using the same outfit and the lemonade stand! I have messaged her a few times and she has some cute ideas!
Present time! She wasn't that terribly into it, to be honest! She wanted to play with everything right away! She got lots of cute "girly" things to share the toy space with all of Levi's tractors and trucks. She got a couple dolls, a little ride-on toy, a doll buggy, and lots of cute clothes!
Ha, the cupcake wasn't a huge hit either. She just looked at it and poked it for awhile, then we gave her a taste of the frosting and she ate a little bit, but mostly she just smashed it and destroyed it all over her tray! Then she kept pointing to the plate of cupcakes I had on the table and signing for more! Silly girl!
And one last one of our family!
It was a really fun day celebrating our baby girl turning ONE! I can't believe how fast that year went by! Hopefully back later this week with her one year update!

11 months
Oh man, I can't believe that Paige is only a MONTH away from being ONE YEAR OLD!! So crazy!
Good grief, is this girl ever filled with personality! She is a hoot. And already showing us how sassy she is going to be when she is older!
Paige, at 11 months old::
- In mostly 12 month clothing.
- I don't have an official weigh-in, but I am guessing around 19 lbs.
- I know she has gotten a tiny bit taller! No official number though.
- Still in size 4 diapers.
- Still only two teeth! All four on the top are so close, but are taking FOR. EV. ER. to come through.
- Picking up speed with walking. Pretty soon she will be running. Yikes!
- She knows how to come down the stairs. She'll turn around and go down backwards. She actually picked up on this pretty quick, I only helped her a few times and next thing I know she is doing it on her own.
- Now that we are all feeling better (other than those darn teeth), she has actually been sleeping ok. Nothing worth bragging about, but for her track record, it hasn't been too bad!
- Still a pretty light eater. She is definitely getting favorites now. She loves grapes, oranges, cheese in any form, puffs, tomatoes, and pretty much any fruit really. She'll eat most meat..chicken, pork, etc.
- Still not a fan of getting her diaper changed or putting clothes on. I think she just does it to be difficult...when I change her diaper, she rolls over and is up on her feet as soon as I let go of her to wrap the diaper up. Then she runs away and looks back at me and grins, like "Haha, I got away! Now you have to come catch me!" Stinker.
- She is going to be another talker. She babbles and "talks" to us constantly, like she is having an actual conversation with us. She has a little attitude too! Paul and I joke that she is telling us off sometimes the way she squeals and screams at us, looking at you straight in the eye!
- She just started doing "All done!" when I say that do her. She'll put her hands up and to her sides.
- She's catching on to signing "more". She copies me when I do it.
- I might have forgotten this on last month's, but she is also shaking her head, and nodding when we say yes or no, and copying us.

10 months
Another month flew by (and then some) and Paige Cecelia is 10 (and a half) months old. I was pretty happy with the pictures I got of her this month. She still wouldn't sit still, but I at least got them to focus a little better! :) The headbands don't last too long anymore either, but I'm glad she let me get a few pics without ripping it off. Ha.
At 10 months, Paige:
- Wears 9-12 month clothes, depending on the brand.
- Weighs about 18 lbs.
- Is about 29 inches tall.
- Still in size 4 dipes.
- Has two teeth! She actually had these last month but I forgot to add it when I did that post. Whoops! She's working on some more, too, so hopefully they will be through SOON!
- Walking! She's really taken off in the past week or so. She can get up to standing from the floor, too.
- Eating pretty good, she has favorites, but will usually try whatever I put on her tray. She looooves grapes and strawberries, cheese is also a big hit.
- Sleeping hasn't been too great lately, for various reasons. Teething, stuffy nose, and just altogether growing. She's learning so much lately that she just wants to practice! Hoping soon that we can ALL get some good nights of sleep.
- She is starting to cheese for me when I get the camera out. I remember Levi doing this, and it is hilarious.
- Hates, HATES laying still for me to change her diaper. Good. LORD. You'd think I was using some sort of torture device on her by trying to get her to lay still for 30 seconds. I hope she grows of it soon.
- Still has her binker, mostly when she is tired. She's not quite as attached to it as Levi was. I am hoping to stop using it a little sooner with her.
- Loves making noises. Dadada, mamama, lalala, bababa, raspberries, screams and squeals, etc.!
- She can get herself on and off of the ride-on toys we have, and push herself along on them. She has actually been doing this awhile too, I think I just forgot to mention it last time!
- She's definitely got a mind of her own, and wants what she wants NOW. She's going to be a spitfire!

Visitors and finally getting outside!
My mom, sister and Aubrey came up to visit one day, and Levi and Aubrey were having some fun in a box.
We were finally able to get outside last week! It was super nice out. The depressing part is that we got a foot of snow less than a week later. Womp, womp.
Miss Paige, looking cute as always.
She loved it when I pushed her around on Levi's trike. After I took this pic, she got herself up there too.
Loved the slide too! :)
Paige also had her first 4-wheeler ride. She wasn't sure what to think.
And one of Levi. He doesn't stand still for me, so I usually have more of Paige. He's growing up so fast.

9 months
Only about 3 weeks late! ACK! Both kids have changed their daytime sleep routines so we are all out of whack right now, including myself as I try to adjust to not having any kid-free time to refresh my mindset after lunch. I used to do my blog posts during nap time, but now that Levi refuses to take a nap anymore, that has been tough. Obviously! :) Things will settle again eventually, I'm sure. Hopefully sooner than later. Being able to get outside to play would be helpful, as well. (AHEM, mother nature, get the hint!!) But anyway, I will get right to the few pictures I was able to snap of Miss Never-Stops-Moving for this month! (These were actually taken at the right time of the month, just haven't gotten them posted until now.)
Yeah, she's pretty darn cute, but she is a spitfire!
At 9 months, Paige::
- Weighs 16 lbs 11 oz. (13th percentile)
- Is 28.5 inches tall. (79th percentile)
- Wearing size 9 month and some 12 month clothes.
- In size 4 dipes.
- Speed crawler.
- She takes a few steps at a time, but still hasn't quite taken off yet. Crawling is faster! She cruises around furniture like crazy though.
- Claps her hands and does "So big", when she feels like it of course. ;)
- Loves being close her her brother. And also loves anything that he happens to be playing with at any given moment.
- Eats like a bird. She will barely drink a 6 oz. bottle at one time. Usually it's around 4 oz. every 4 hours or so. Evenings we make an 8 oz bottle and she will usually drink 6-7 oz. of it, although it takes for. ev. er. since she falls asleep while drinking it.
- Speaking of sleep. It's hit and miss. Some nights she does really good, other nights she's up a couple times. We have been letting her cry a little, and Paul goes in there instead of me, since she knows I'm more likely to give in and pick her up.
- Like I mentioned right away, her daytime sleep schedule is changing. She WILL NOT take a nap for me in the morning like she used to, around 9:30. So then she is tired around noon, and only sleeps for about an hour and a half, and then is tired again by right after supper. So we've been having early bedtimes all around lately. Hopefully it will fall into place soon. The fighting sleep stage is the worst. SLEEP IS GOOD, CHILDREN!! :) Haha.
- She loves making noises.
- She climbs on anything she is able to get her leg up to. No fear whatsoever.
Love our silly, spunky girl!

8 months
8 months old already! That last month just flew past. Miss Paige is just as active as ever. She doesn't let much slow her down. Crazy girl! We just love her to pieces!
Paige, at 8 months old::
- Weighs about 16 lbs 10 oz.
- Guessing between 27 and 28 inches tall.
- Size 9 month clothes.
- Size 4 diapers.
- Sleep is still unpredictable. She is on her fourth ear infection since her 6 month check-up as of yesterday, so we are either dealing with that, or she has been teething. So not a whole lotta rest for mom and dad. Thankfully Levi sleeps right through it.
- On the subject of ear infections, we are pretty sure that she'll end up getting tubes like Levi did. Paul and I are actually hoping to get them done sooner than Levi did with the route we're on with Paige. They helped him so much, and we just want her to have some relief and get some sleep! Then I can also stop constantly worrying if she has an ear infection, or if she is just teething, or what.
- Doing well with the bottle. She still doesn't drink or eat near as much as Levi did, but she's also pretty active. She has been eating some oatmeal cereal in the mornings, and once in a while I'll get her to have a bit of baby food, but for the most part, she wants to do it herself. I usually cut things up and let her go to town. She loves fruit, especially oranges, bananas and strawberries. She'll usually try the veggies I put on her tray, but she won't eat near as much as the fruit. She also still loves the baby mum-mums and puffs.
- She has been blowing raspberries with her lips and tongue a lot lately. Too funny! She still says da-da-da a lot, and says buh-buh-buh now too. And she likes to squeal!
- She FINALLY has a tooth! Her bottom left one finally came through, and the other one is pretty darn close. I can see it, but it hasn't popped through the gums yet.
- Pushes her walk-behind toy and Levi's car around and walks behind them. Cruises along the couch and other furniture. She can balance on her own, but usually when she realizes what she is doing she falls to her butt. I think in a couple months she'll be walking, but we'll see! Levi was doing a lot of what she's doing at this age too, and he didn't walk until 12 months. Never know! :)
- She likes to carry things around in her mouth while she is crawling. Like her socks or random toys. Ha!
- No fear! She would crawl right off the top of the stairs if I didn't watch her.
- Loves her big brother! She wants to be wherever he is.

Pics from lately
I haven't posted any pics of the kids lately so I thought I better do that!
Levi thought his little fort was pretty cool! He sat in there and watched cartoons for a little while.
This first one of Paige just cracks me up! What a ham! She likes helping with the dishwasher, just like Levi did. After these pics, she was up on the door.
Paul is finally going to finish the wall in the kitchen where we put the new window. (Where the patio door used to be.) He tore off the old wainscoting and Levi thought he better help daddy, so he went and got the bin that has all his tools in it so he could help. "My jus' helping daddy!"
Paige is walking behind things now, mostly her lion push toy because Levi won't let her near his little car unless he is riding it and she is walking behind him. He thinks it's pretty funny. We keep reminding him that he needs to go very slow. It's so cute, if she falls, he'll stop and wait for her to get back up and hang on again.
Paige also figured out how to climb up the front of her push toy. Before I snapped this pic she had both feet up on it and her butt in the air. Of course when I got my camera she wouldn't do it again. Never fails! :)
And just one last one of my handsome little man.

Paige's 6 month pics
FINALLY remembering to share these! Paige's 6 month pictures with Stephanie turned out SO cute! She did pretty well most of the time, but she was not impressed with the little romper I put on her. She's just like her brother and didn't want to just sit still! :)
These are just a few of my favorites!
Gotta admit, I had fun finding outfits for her! I already have ideas for her one year pics! (hint: lace leggings!!!)

January photo update!
Sharing some pictures from the first couple weeks of January.
Miss Paige likes to climb on things now. She thinks she is pretty smart! It's hilarious to watch her get up on something and just smile because she is so proud of herself! Obviously it's nothing too far from the ground, and I am right there if she gets too close to the edge. Just today she scaled the stairs twice, and makes a beeline if she looks in that direction. So I put the gate back up. Womp, womp.
Not much needed for explanation here. My farmboys just checking out some tractors!
MUST GET ALL THE CORDS!! As you can imagine she needed some assistance getting out of there.
Thought we would end our weekend with some root beer floats. Paige was not impressed with me putting her down to take a picture, even if it was by daddy, and Levi was not about to distract his attention from his float. Meh, I'll take what I can get at this point.
Stinker butt. She climbs up on the far right side then crawls across to the other side. She does pretty good getting down since its on a few inches up.
And just a couple cute ones of Paige in her bibs, because who doesn't love babies in overalls?

Exhausted
Exhausted. That is how I feel quite a bit lately. *sigh* All I want is a few uninterrupted hours of sleep. But, sadly, I haven't gotten that for a long time. And I don't see a light at the end of the tunnel, either.
I took Paige to the doctor yesterday. After a few nights of waking up an hour or less after I put her down for bed and not napping for more than an hour at a time during the day, I figured it had to be something more than just resisting sleep. Turns out she had an ear infection. In the opposite ear as last time. Oh, yeah, I don't think I mentioned that here, but when she went for her 6 month check-up she had the start of one in her left ear. And now, less than a week after finishing those meds, the other ear is infected. Not fun.
So hopefully this medicine will help. Because she needs sleep. And so does mommy. I am just praying we don't have to go through what we did with Levi again.
In the meantime, here are a few pictures from the past couple weeks.
