I took Paige to have some newborn pictures taken last week, and they are already done! That is the one thing I wish I would have had done with Levi. We had a friend of mine take some family ones, which I LOVE, but we didn't really have time to do many of Levi on his own. I took some myself with the help of my mom and sister, but it would have been fun to have some professional ones of him when he was tiny.
Paige did awesome at her shoot! I fed her when I got to the photography studio, and it took her a little while to fall asleep, but once she did, she slept through the whole thing! She woke up when we were going to move her one more time, but we already had plenty of great shots, so we decided to call it good instead of try and get her back to sleep. I am so happy with how they turned out!
I am happy to introduce my beautiful doll-baby, Paige Cecelia!
Once again thanks to Stephanie Foto ~ Stephanie Warzecha Photography for the amazing photos!

Paige Cecelia
Our sweet little girl is here!
Paige Cecelia Staples was born at 2:06 p.m. on June 11th, 2013. 8 lbs and 21 inches. We love her to pieces!
I know it took me forever to get this post up since she is already over a week old! But the week and a half since she was born has been a whirlwind. I will post about it all soon, but for now, here are a few more pictures!

Update!
I got an unexpected call from my doctor's office today, asking if we would be ok with moving my induction date to tomorrow morning from Thursday morning. UM, yeah I would be ok with that!! Just had to run it by Paul, and check with his parents, who are keeping Levi, and we are having a baby TOMORROW! AGH! She called after lunch, so I spent the rest of the afternoon picking up the house while Levi napped and double-checking that I had everything in our bags. I did make sure to spend some time with Levi, we went to the park after his nap, and then came home and had a popsicle. It was a green smoothie popsicle, and he took his dear sweet time eating it, so he was a neon green mess by the time he was finished. :) When Paul got home from work, we gave Levi supper then took him out to grandma and grandpa's. We hung out for a bit while he ran around outside, and finally left. I miss him already and hope he is doing alright for grandma, I was a little bit worried about bedtime since he has never stayed overnight there before. Usually I worry for no reason and he does great, so I hope that is the case again.
Well, I just wanted to give a quick update. I better get a few last things done and get to bed, 4:00 a.m. is going to come fast! We have to leave at 5:00 a.m. to get there by 6:00 a.m., so that means I have to get up extra early to shower and everything! Wish me luck! Next post will most likely be introducing our sweet girl!! :)

39 weeks
So much for getting this up on Friday, ha! I had it all written out just had to add the picture but of course I didn't take that until Saturday, then we were gone, and Sunday was just a lazy day and I didn't do much of anything, let alone anything productive. So just pretend that you are reading this last Thursday. :)
SO, the big news after my check-up today is that I am going to have a baby in ONE WEEK!! After checking me and being dilated to nearly 3 cm, Dr. M gave me the option since we live almost an hour from the hospital, to be induced at 40 weeks if the baby doesn't come sooner. I was honestly relieved that she suggested it, or gave me the option. I have been worrying about making it to the hospital in time, since a lot of times labor can go fast for second pregnancies. And also since I want an epidural I would need to have a fluid bag in my iv before I can get that, and if I am already too far into labor I won't be able to get the epidural in time, and I want pain meds!! :) So we'll see what the week brings, and if I haven't had a baby by Thursday, we will be going to the hospital bright and early at 5:00 a.m.! Actually, we need to be at the hospital at 5:00 a.m., so we'll be leaving around 4:00 or sooner. Levi will be spending the night at Grandpa and Grandma Staples' so we don't have to mess his schedule up so much. Eeeeee! I am excited yet nervous!!
How far along?: 39 wks
How big is baby?: Might measure about 20 inches and weigh a bit over 7 lbs.
Weight gain?: Same exact weight at the dr. that I was last week! So far total gain of 33-34 lbs, which Dr. M is pretty happy with. Me too, since I gained almost 50 when I was preggo with Levi. Yikes!
Stretch marks?: I hate this question.
Maternity clothes?: Yes.
Sleep?: Not bad.
Best moment this week?: It was a pretty normal week. Nothing terribly exciting.
Food cravings?: Ice cream.
Gender?: Girl!
Movement?: Yep!
Belly button?: Still the same, out!
What I miss?: Same as I have said the past several weeks...
Labor signs?: I have had a couple Braxton Hicks that were uncomfortable, on the edge of painful, but nothing consistent. At my check-up today I was dilated to about 3.
What I'm looking forward to?: Hopefully having a baby soon. :)

Truths
So, this is probably going to be an extremely random post. Just a warning.
Truths::
I seriously regret cutting my hair this short. I will never learn.
It's ok if I let my two year old have hotdogs for lunch 4 out of 7 days of the week because that is all he requests.
I am so ready to NOT be pregnant anymore, but I am scared to death of having two kids at home. Sometimes I wonder if we are crazy....a [stubborn, strong-willed, active] two year old and a newborn? It will be a rough couple of first weeks I'm afraid...for all of us.
It's ok if I look forward to nap-time and bedtime every day.
It's ok if Levi watches too much tv some days. Cruddy weather + mommy 9 months pregnant + daddy in the field = Nick Jr.
I never thought I would say this, but I am looking forward to getting back into running and eating better. Turns out that when I put a little effort in, I actually saw some results. And hopefully I will see them again someday.
I somehow have managed to get a stain on almost half of my maternity shirts. And most of the time I don't even know how they got there or where they came from. I guess that's what happens when your belly sticks out way in front of you.
I swear that just because it is harder for me to bend over and pick things up, I drop things twice as much as normal. Which was quite a bit in the first place because I am a klutz.
I don't know why I even try to paint my fingernails, because it never lasts longer than an hour, no matter how careful I am. I am thinking about trying out gel nails just to see how long they would last for me.
I am a scrapbooking supply hoarder. I love getting all the cute new products because they are all so pretty and adorable!! But then because they are so pretty, I resist using them because I don't want to waste them. Dur! I have been trying to make an effort to actually USE all of the fun new things I get along with the things I've been saving (hoarding) for a long time. And I'm also trying to get rid of a few things that I won't use along the way.
I love making smoothies for Levi and myself (especially the green ones since they add lots of vitamins from the spinach and he actually loves them!), but seriously, I get so frustrated with our blender that I hardly ever make them. We just got it less than a year ago, and I thought I was getting a decent one...the reviews weren't terrible and it cost a little more than I was initially planning on spending on it...but SURPRISE, it's still not great. At least not for smoothies. I try to add plenty of liquid, but I still have to stop and stir it every 3 seconds because the blade spins a bubble over it and pushes everything up, if that makes sense. Very annoying. But I don't think I can justify getting a Blendtec or whatever for like $400 either....ummm, yeah, probably not. Ok, blender rant over.
Some people's driving skills suck. I mean COME ON PEOPLE. It only takes one trip out of my little rural comfort zone to remember why I don't live in a bigger city. I like my county highways and gravel roads. But I also like shopping, so I'll brave it......
I am beginning to forget what the sun looks like. And what anything higher than 66 degrees feels like. Is it really June? Did someone forget to give mother nature the memo that it's supposed to be WARM in the summer?
Only Levi can have me so extremely frustrated that I feel like I might burst because he is being such a stinker, then turn around and do something so goofy that I completely forget what I was so mad about in the first place. Oh, how I love that little boy!
I'm not completely sure what this post turned into, but I think I'm done now. :)
39 week pregnancy update will be coming tomorrow sometime, once I snap a picture!

Pinspiration
Darn near forgot it was Monday again! Well, not really, just forgot about posting. :) It has been a long day. Levi has been suuuper whiney lately, so mid-morning I decided to bring him to the dr. to check for an ear infection. I figured it had to be that or just his two-year molars coming in. Hopefully this is not how the next year or so will be...terrible two's=understatement. Well, no ear infection but the dr. said his tonsils were swollen and gave him some antibiotics for tonsillitis. He has big tonsils in the first place and I'm hoping that the reddish colored orange-flavored water he was drinking on the way there didn't make a difference... But either way, meds for 10 days.
Here are my fave pins for the week!
I had plenty of fabric (like, almost twice as much as I needed) left over from what my mom and I used to make baby girl's crib skirt and valance, so I'm thinking this would be a perfect way to use up a yard of it! Looks easy enough that I might even be able to do it myself! :) Maybe..
Thinking I might have to try these for my little corn-dog lover.
Dill roasted red potatoes. Definitely going to have to give these a try this summer sometime!
This dress from Maurices. Love! I picture it with cowboy boots (which I will hopefully be getting a new pair of this fall), and some cute accessories!
Rhubarb hand pies. Another one that reminded me of my mom! They look super yummy and actually, not too hard to make.
Our town has its celebration (parade, street dance, etc.) during the Fourth of July, and the last few years our family has been stopping over at our house for a bit after the parade. These would be perfect to share with Levi and his cousins this year! (Assuming it is warm out by then...never know with the spring/summer we've been having here.)
Green-a-colada popsicles. Like a green smoothie but in popsicle form! I have the ingredients for these on my grocery list for this week, I am excited to try them out for Levi!
